Our Nursery

Welcome to Handprints Day Nursery & Preschool, where we believe that every child deserves an exceptional early years education experience. Our nursery is a place where your child will feel loved, supported and inspired to learn and grow.

At Handprints, we provide a rich and diverse learning environment that will ignite your child's curiosity about the world around them. Our experienced team of educators is dedicated to nurturing your child's natural talents and abilities, encouraging them to become independent learners and confident explorers.

We have adopted the 'Curiosity Approach', which is centered around providing authentic resources and creating opportunities for your child to learn through open-ended activities and exploring their environment. As an Ofsted rated Good nursery, we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and education for your child. We ensure that every child is well prepared for their eventual transition to school and we encourage both staff and children to grow, learn and create together each day.

Ofsted (2022 Report)

"Staff support children to develop their physical skills in a variety of ways. Babies laugh with delight as they crawl after balloons. They watch as staff send balloons into the air, reaching their arms up to catch them as they fall. Toddlers notice the marks that they make as they paint. They tell staff 'that's my daddy' as they use brushes with control to paint circles."
